Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement sets out the steps Storage Falconwood has taken, and continues to take, to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking from occurring within our business operations and supply chains. Storage Falconwood is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all business dealings and relationships.
Our Zero-Tolerance Approach
Storage Falconwood has a zero-tolerance policy towards all forms of modern slavery, servitude, forced or compulsory labour, and human trafficking. We expect the same high standards from all our suppliers, contractors, and business partners. We will not knowingly engage with any organisation involved in or connected to modern slavery practices. Any identified breach of this policy will be treated as a serious matter and may result in termination of contracts or business relationships.
Our Business and Supply Chains
Storage Falconwood operates in the storage and related services sector. Our supply chains include providers of equipment, facilities management, security, cleaning, maintenance, IT systems, and professional services. We recognise that the risk of modern slavery can exist at various levels of these supply chains, particularly where there are subcontracting arrangements or the use of temporary or migrant labour.
We are committed to improving our understanding of these risks and to taking reasonable steps to ensure that slavery and human trafficking are not present in our operations or those of our suppliers.
Supplier Due Diligence and Audits
We undertake due diligence on new suppliers and review existing suppliers periodically to assess their compliance with our standards on labour practices and human rights. This due diligence may include requests for information about their policies, procedures, and workforce practices, and their own supply chain oversight.
Where appropriate, we conduct supplier audits to verify compliance with our modern slavery requirements. These audits may be carried out by Storage Falconwood or by qualified third parties. If we identify concerns or areas for improvement, we require suppliers to implement corrective actions within a reasonable timeframe. Continued non-compliance may result in suspension or termination of the business relationship.
Policies and Training
Our internal policies reinforce our commitment to preventing modern slavery, including our code of conduct, recruitment practices, and procurement standards. These policies are designed to ensure fair treatment, lawful employment, and safe working conditions for all individuals working within our business and for those engaged within our supply chains, as far as we can reasonably influence.
We provide appropriate training and guidance to relevant employees, particularly those involved in procurement, supplier management, and human resources, so that they can identify indicators of modern slavery and respond appropriately to any concerns.
Reporting Concerns and Escalation Channels
Storage Falconwood encourages all employees, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to report any concerns or suspicions about modern slavery or unethical labour practices. Concerns can be raised through established internal reporting channels or directly to senior management. Reports can be made confidentially, and we will take all concerns seriously and handle them sensitively.
No individual will suffer any detrimental treatment for raising a genuine concern in good faith about modern slavery. We will investigate all reports promptly and, where appropriate, take remedial and preventive action.
Continuous Improvement and Annual Review
We recognise that tackling modern slavery is an ongoing responsibility. Storage Falconwood is committed to continually reviewing and improving our systems, processes, and controls to minimise the risk of modern slavery within our operations and supply chains.
This Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement will be reviewed annually by senior management to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. The review will take into account any changes in legislation, guidance, business operations, or supply chain structure, as well as any findings from audits, investigations, or stakeholder feedback.
This statement has been approved by the leadership of Storage Falconwood and represents our ongoing commitment to combating modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our business.
